There is great excitement in the Hoole nursery with the pitter patter of tiny feet!!

We would like to introduce you to our new pet guinea pigs Pepper and Rosie!

The names were picked with the help of both the children and the parents.

The children help with the feeding, cleaning and day to day care of the guinea pigs as well as watching them play and having the odd cuddle and stroke.

Not only have the children all gained two fury pets but they are also learning to ‘show care and concern for living things and the environment’ (EYFS 2012)
