The Spinney Day Nursery offers exactly that and more.

We are a family run business, that is passionate about childcare and delivering a very high standard of service for children aged 0 – 5yrs. Our highly qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioners provide nurturing childcare that supports every aspect of a child’s development.

DEVELOPMENT PLAN

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to enhance the children’s learning. Each child in our care has their own ‘Key Person’ who is their main carer and is responsible for getting to know your child extremely well. They will also be responsible for liaison between the nursery and parents.

We also ask for parents’ input, so that we know what your child is enjoying doing at home, and what learning experiences they have outside of the Nursery.

Having a great outdoor space on our premises allows us to make sure all children play outside at least once a day to enjoy the fresh air.

We are passionate about baby development, and about creating a stimulating environment for babies to play and explore.

Babies learn in all kinds of ways, this is why we get involved in lots of different activities, exploring and learning. We aim for some kind of sensory or paint-based activity every day and the children love to get messy!

The Spinney Day Nursery Baby Rooms are designed to create a dedicated space for each venture. We have messy corners, sensory rooms, quite space and discovery areas.

TODDLER AREAS

Our Toddler Rooms cater for children aged 14 months – 3 years, however this depends on each individual child. Some children are ready to move on sooner, while others may benefit from staying longer. We look at each child individually to determine what is best for them.

The Spinney Day Nursery Toddler Rooms are full of colours to create a positive, toddler-friendly vibe.

Although we have a routine to the day in terms of playtime, snack-time, song-time and reading-time, no two days are ever the same! We do lots of activities and games to work on your child’s development as well as to make sure they enjoying themselves.
