SPINNEY SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLUB

Our School Holiday Club runs during the school holidays in both England and Wales.

We are open from 7.30 am till 6.30 pm.

The Spinney School Holiday Club is very popular as we make sure it is always jam packed with themed activities, games and trips out, which children love. Our club is run by a dedicated childcare professional who understands what makes 4-11 year olds tick.

You can book your child in for the whole holiday period, a week or even a day if you just need some extra childcare support. Discounts are available.

THE SPINNEY ADVENTURERS CLUB

One of the fantastic activities we offer during school holiday time is based on the Forest School idea.

The Spinney Adventurers Club was set up to allow children to experience and learn about their surrounding natural environment in a fun, informative and exciting way.

Set in the enchanting small woodland at our Spinney Day Nursery, it runs every Wednesday throughout the school holidays for 4-11 years old and has proved a real hit with the children.

WHAT’S INVOLVED

Each session has three main aims:  LEARN – ADVENTURE – EXPLORE

We introduce children to the surrounding natural habitat and teach about conservation.
Children learn bushcraft skills which can be put into practise by building a den or reading maps to navigate. We use only natural materials to create artistic masterpieces and crafts.
Children are encouraged to use their imagination as all sessions are created with background story.
