We have really missed our Holiday Club children but have some good news!
We have been awaiting Government Guidance on whether Holiday Clubs will be allowed to provide their service over the next couple of months.
The Government have now announced that all Holiday Clubs will be allowed to open from Monday 6th July. This is wonderful news for all working Parents.
We just wanted to keep you updated, in case you require childcare throughout the summer holiday for children who are of primary school age.
Rest assured, we are preparing to reopen the Holiday Club in-line with our routines, procedures and policies to minimise the risk of transmission and spread.
We intend to open this year’s Holiday Club for the Summer 2020 on Monday 13th July.
The Nursery has been open since June 1st and we have implemented a range of routines, policies and procedures in order to minimise the risk of Covid-19 transmission and spread.
These routines, policies and procedures will also be applied to the Holiday Club provision, whilst also ensuring a fun and stimulating place for the children.

Please complete and return as soon as possible so we know the numbers of children who will be attending. This will enable us to bring the required members of staff back to work, who have previously been on Furlough.
IMPORTANT: At this stage, there are limitations on transporting children and until we have further clarification we may have to look at children only being dropped off and collected from The Spinney Day Nursery Bell Meadow (directions below). As soon as we have clarification on this matter I will be in touch.
The ‘Bubbles’ of 16 children per room apply at the moment, and we are aware of and have made provision for this situation. We intend to access the Holiday Club Room by the rear stairs to avoid passing through the Nursery.
We also intend to spend as much time as we can outdoors making full use of the field that runs adjacent to the drive leading into the Bell Meadow estate.
With regards to the Spinney Adventurers Club that normally takes place every Wednesday throughout Holiday Club, we will again be waiting on clarification as to whether we can transport the children to the Spinney Woods or other places we would normally go to.
If we are unable to transport the children we will look to provide a version of the Spinney Adventurers Club in the grounds of the Holiday Club site and on the field.
As usual, a Weekly Activity Plan will be available and the days you require can be chosen by yourselves.
