There has been lots going on at the Spinney Day Nursery Hoole this week in aid of Children in Need! We wanted to raise as much as possible this year to show our support and to help children that are not as fortunate as us.

At the start of the week the children all took home a Pudsey Bear Superhero picture to decorate so we could display them all over the front of the nursery. There have been some fantastic pictures that the children decorated with their families so we can’t wait to put them up!

On Tuesday the children came to nursery dressed as their favourite superhero and took part in lots of superhero-themed games and activities. One game involved catching Spider Man in a web which they had made out of wool!

On Wednesday Pre School had a special Treasure Hunt in the Spinney Outdoor Area where they had to search high and low for the hidden treasures! They did a fantastic job and all found a piece of treasure each, much to their delight!

On Friday the Pre School and Big Toddlers had the fantastic opportunity to take part in their very own Sponsored Fitness Session at the Doubletree Hilton Club & Spa which was led by their staff.

You can read more about the Spinney Sponsored Fitness Session here.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all those who have supported our fundraising this week and we hope the children have had a brilliant time at nursery.

There was also cakes baked and sold for a donation throughout the week and on Friday the children had  special Superhero Cakes made for them by our lovely cook.

A massive thank you as always to our amazing staff for all their hard work! 🙂
