Today in the Spinney Hoole pre-school we have been concentrating on communication, language and literacy.
We have read ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ by Michael Rosen (a huge favourite with the children) and set up our very own bear hunt in our new small world/messy play room.
The children each got the chance to go through mud, snow, water and forest until they found a bear.
The EYFS tells us that ‘Children join in with repeated refains and anticipate key events and phrases in rhymes and stories’ (EYFS 2013)
