The children at both the Spinney Hoole and Bell Meadow had a lovely surprise last week as Blue the Polar bear came to visit. Blue is the mascot for Winter Wonderland , which is coming to Chester Racecourse this winter, and promises to be a truly magical place.

The children loved meeting Blue and sang songs for her and also gave her lots of hugs! They really do love Polar bears!

All the children & staff of the Spinney would like to thank Winter Wonderland and Blue for coming to visit us and we look forward to seeing them again at Chester Racecourse from November 21st.

We are really looking forward to visiting Winter Wonderland this next couple months as there will be a real ice-rink, Santa’s Grotto, 3D Movie Room & an Enchanted Forest.

Looks like it is going to be a magical place to be in Chester this winter!
