The Spinney Day Nursery Bell Meadow have had a ‘Royally’ good time today as they had their very own royal celebration to mark the Queen’s 90th Birthday. The Pre School children made their very own Crowns, sprinkled with glitter and wore them while they had a little tea party outside in the sunshine.

They have been listening to stories with a royal theme too, including the books ‘The Royal Baby’ by Tony Bradman and ‘The Queen’s Knickers’ by Nicholas Allan, a book that the children all love and even inspired them to colour in a pair of their very own knickers (rest assured they were paper ones)!

With the fabulous weather they played outside a lot today, taking indoor activities outdoors and enjoyed playing with the castle and horses to continue the Queen theme.
