It’s Snowtime! What a lovely surprise for the children at the Spinney Day Nursery Hoole this morning as they looked outside only to discover it was snowing! As they watched from the window they were fascinated by the large falling flakes that quickly settled on the garden, creating a lovely layer of snow.

Once the short  blizzard was over they put on their wellies, hats, scarves and gloves and ventured out into the Outdoor Area to explore and play in the fresh snow.

It wasn’t long before they were  using the buckets and the outdoor play toys to collect the snow and attempt a snowman.

Unfortunately the snow was a bit too wet to make a proper one as the head kept rolling off so they just enjoyed running around and playing in the snow!

They had a fantastic time playing in the snow and watching as the smaller snowflakes began to fall. After a good time playing in the snow they headed back in to the warmth of the nursery where they were just in time for a warm lunch!
