The Spinney Bell Meadow have been having lots of fun this week celebrating the start of the World Cup which is being held in Brazil.

One of the things we learnt about Brazil is that they love a Carnival. So we decided to join in the fun. The children have been preparing fantastic head pieces to be worn during the carnival.

The children also came into nursery dressed in the colours of the Brazilian flag, green, yellow and blue. The sun was shining as we danced around the garden to our Carnival music.

The children really enjoyed the dancing and we joined to do the conga.

We obviously will be cheering for England tonight.

Do watch out for lots more fun activities coming to celebrate this exciting time.
