The children at The Spinney Bell Meadow have taken part in a Giant Wiggle today. The Wiggle had a Hungry caterpillar theme and was organised to raise money for Action for Children.

Before the children wiggled their way around Bell Meadow they spent some time making some fantastic hats to wear. They used lots of bright colours to decorate their own caterpillars.

After reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar book, the children set off on their Wiggle. They had a task to find all of the food that the Hungry Caterpillar eats along the way.

They did a fantastic job and found all of the food. We have lots of full caterpillars now at Bell Meadow.

When the children returned to nursery they were all given a certificate for completing the Wiggle. With all of the sponsors that have been received so far we have raised £110 for Action for Children and we still have more sponsorship money coming in.

Thank you to all that have sponsored and taken part in the Wiggle for helping us raise a fantastic amount of money for such a good cause.
