The story so far…
The Spinney Adventurers latest adventure took them to the beach where they were tasked to find lost treasure and a Healing Crystal. The Mystical Woodland Folk had received a message from their cousins, the Mystical Water Folk, who live in the sea and help protect the sealife. The Wise Wizard had been exploring in the Faraway land, looking for the Healing Crystal that helps all wildlife flourish. He was to bring it back to the Magic Woods along with some other treasure that he discovered along the way.
Unfortunately as he made his way across the seas in his boat a huge storm hit causing his boat to capsize. The Mystical Water Folk came to his rescue and carried him safely back to the beach but all of the treasure and the Healing Crystal was lost at sea!
After the storm retreated they believe the treasure has been washed up on the beach and now remains in the sand. They asked the Spinney Adventurers to head to the beach to try and find the hidden treasure by using a metal detector!
Of course the Spinney Adventurers were more than happy to help and off they set to the beach.
The adventure begins…
When they arrived they explored the area to see any signs of where the treasure could be. Having found a ship wreck they thought it could be the Wizards so set to work using the metal detector to scan the sand.
They each had a turn and before long the metal detector began to beep and the different bits of treasure were unearthed. Soon they had found all of the missing treasure and the very important Healing Crystal! They even found the Wizard’s wand!
With it being such a lovely day at the beach the Spinney Adventurers enjoyed a picnic and explored the beach; finding crabs, shells and all sorts of different feathers.
In the afternoon they got into groups and created some fantastic beach art that represented different things you may find in and around the sea.
Well done Spinney Adventurers, the Wizard will be very happy that you have found all the treasure. Now the Healing Crystal can be placed in the Magic Woods throughout the winter to keep the wildlife flourishing.
