The Spinney Day Nursery Hoole Pre School had another visit to their vegetable patch that the staff at the Doubletree Hilton’s Care Committee Team had kindly made for them as part of their Care in the Community Project. They last visited to do a spot of gardening in the autumn where they had planted some bulbs and seeds but it looks like the local rabbits have been having a great time as they had nibbled the plants!

The children didn’t mind too much and armed with small trowels and gardening gloves the set to it and began to dig holes in the soil to plant some more seeds. They planted a variety of things to grow including potatoes, chillies and peppers and look forward to seeing them flourish over the next couple of months.

Gardening fun in the sun!

They had a lovely time doing the gardening in the sunshine

with the help of the Doubletree Hilton, Chester Team. We look forward to popping over again to see how the plants are doing!
