The Spinney Hoole pre-schoolers had an exciting time travelling the world and learning all about the different countries.
Before setting off on their adventures each child made their own passport which was stamped each time they visited a new place.
On their journey around the world they visited China, Germany, France, Iceland, Spain, Greece and Australia. Throughout the week the children learnt how to say hello, goodbye and thank you in the different languages. Many of the children used the Spanish word for thank you throughout the whole week.
The week was packed full of exciting activities to help widen the children’s knowledge of different countries. When the children visited Iceland we saw our very own volcano, which we made with vinegar and baking powder.
Whilst we were in Australia the children were very lucky and got to play an Australian instrument, The Didgeridoo!!
