Join us this February Half Term as we set off on an exciting adventure to explore the Polar Regions of our Planet.

We will be learning all about the Arctic & Antarctica, the different animals that live there and the brave Explorers that have
ventured across this Wild, White Lands of Wonder.

From Polar bears to Igloos, Penguins to Polar Exploration it will be a really fun packed week with a huge range of activities which every
child can enjoy, in a friendly environment.

Keep an eye out over the next couple of weeks for what activities we have planned.

Also, don’t forget we are running The Spinney Adventurers Club all day on Tuesday & Wednesday morning! More about the best children’s
Adventure Club to come!

Some of the Activities to include:

Polar Bears, Penguins and Snowflakes Arts & Crafts – making snow globes, polar bear
decorations, Igloos and much more

Become an Explorer for the day – Your mission is to explore the unknown lands for the day,
what will you find?

Learning about Polar Explorers and Expeditions – fun and informative sessions with the films,
worksheets and quizzes

Our very own Polar Expedition – plan your own expedition! Where are you going to go, what will
you see, what will you eat and wear? Let’s find out as we plan our own
exploration together and write a play about it!

And ‘Action’ –
Lets make a short play about our expedition as we enter our Winter Wonderland!
Aspiring actors will love this as we have our fantastic drama teacher at hand!

We provide a fun, friendly and welcoming Holiday Club and newcomers are always made extremely welcome by the children. There will always be a wide range of games and activtites on offer so the children have a choice, and some activtites may be subject to change.
