The pre school children had a real treat when the local ‘Pets at Home’ store made a visit with some lovely animals to show the children. They included two lovely brown rabbits who happily hopped along in the pre school room having a look about and letting the children stroke them. There were also two Guinea Pigs tat the children learned all about and had the chance to stroke them as well.

The children heard about how both rabbits and guinea pigs made good pets and how is best to look after them as well as learning about what they like to eat and how a healthy diet is just as important to animals as it is to people. They even received a certificate at the end of the visit!

We would like to say a big thank you on behalf of the children and staff at the Spinney Bell Meadow to Pets at Home Chester for coming to visit us with the lovely animals!
