Our children had a great time playing in the snow last week at both the Spinney Hoole and he Spinney Bell Meadow nurseries.
They donned their hats, gloves, scarves and wellies and ran into the outdoor area and garden. They jumped through the snow and inspected the patterns their foot prints had made in the snow, as well as picking handfuls up and watched it fall slowly to the ground.
It was great to see them all enjoying playing in the snow and you could probably hear the laughter from miles away! The Spinney Hoole even managed to make a snowman with its own hat and carrot nose!
Whilst we were outside we chatted about snow and where it came from, why it was so cold and the children were fascinated by how it melted as soon as it touched their hands. They all had a fantastic time and couldn’t wait to go out and play in it again!
